POST: ADMINISTRATION CLERK: REGISTRY

SALARY: R 152 862 (Level 5) per annum

CENTRE: Institution: Tygerberg Hospital, Parow Valley

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum education qualification: Senior (or equivalent) Certificate. Experience: Appropriate experience of Medical Records and Registry Services. Inherent requirements of the job: Willingness to work shifts and overtime when required. Must be willing to rotate and relief personnel. Competencies (knowledge /skills): Computer literacy. Proficiency in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Note: No payment of any kind is required when applying for this post.

DUTIES: (key results areas/output): Issue and receive folders. Responsible for archiving folders. Issue folders on micro bundles. Ensure folders are Index correctly. Scanning of folders daily. Prepare of folders for scanning. File tracking on Hospital Information System and Trace misfiles. Handle telephone enquiries.
