The National Agricultural Marketing Council was established in terms of the MAP Act No. 47 of 1996, as amended by Act No 59 of 1997 and Act No. 52 of 2001. We provide strategic advice to the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries on the marketing of agricultural products.

Composition of the Council is represented by members across the sector. Its mandate is that off advising the Minister on matters relating to statutory measures, agricultural marketing policy and reporting on the performance of the NAMC.
The committee is delegated with the responsibility to ensure fairness and equity strives at the NAMC. Its upmost task is that of reviewing Human Resources policies and advising Council on steps taken to implement the HR Charter.
We are offering a one year internship for an adminstrative assistant position.

REQUIRMENTS
At least N6 in the following fields: Information Technology: Administration: Communication:
Human Resources Management: Supply Chain Management / Purchasing
SKILLS:
 Administrative including co-ordination and planning skills
 Excellent interpersonal skills
 Good verbal and written communication skills
 Computer skills and Problem solving skills
 Good listening skills

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Perform general administrative support to specific projects/programmes.
 Maintain and update administrative systems
 Coordinate logistical arrangements
 Manage the workflow in the Office
