Job description

The HI-TEC Marketing department is growing! We are looking for a switched-on individual to champion the HI-TEC social community platforms and assist with basic e-commerce functions. This exciting role combines social media with e-commerce, with a strong focus on serving the customer. The candidate will be immersed in a fun, sociable yet focussed and self-motivating environment and will report and work closely with the Communications and E-commerce Managers. To be considered for this role, the individual must show a good understanding of social media functionalities, display a fantastic attitude and passion for all things digital.

• Understand the essence of each social media platform, how to manage and engage a community efficiently and professionally

Taks

The overall job requires the individual to champion the social commerce communities and manage e-commerce administration

• Manage consumer communications with speed and precision across all HI-TEC social media touchpoints. [Consumer communications might be consumer product enquiries / questions and complaints/ tracking their purchase/ responding to conversation around online promotions and looking for brand conversation]
• To be cognizant of all online campaigns launched by the team
• Monitor brand reputation through searching for positive and negative brand sentiment in online conversations across platforms
• Implementation of social media content strategy across various social media platforms
• Execute and manage paid social media campaigns along with PR communications manager
• Create analytic reporting on social media channels
• Engaging with the content of various PR partners, ambassadors, gear reviewers and influencers across social media platforms
• Report any reputational risks on social media to communications manager
• Managing the E-commerce customer care lines (email and telephone)
•  In charge of e-commerce product uploads, monitoring parcel deliveries and the return and exchange booking and monitoring
• Report any site issues to the e-commerce manager
