Minimum Skills / Knowledge required:

• B. Com degree or above with accounting
• Studying towards CIMA qualification an advantage
• Good computer Excel skills.
• Knowledge of SAP and COGNOS an advantage

Provide support in the closing process:

• Sales journals (Consumer Health Care)
• Clinical Study Unit (CSU) accruals
• P&L / OPEX analysis
• Botswana and Namibia purchase orders / accruals
• Reporting of various indicators: Trade / Tender, Media Buy, market research, IT costs…
• Strong support of the Controller in charge of the CSU reporting
• Loading budget into HFM and check retrieves
• Monitoring spend versus budget prior to purchase order approvals
• Monthly reviews with budget owners
• Business partner to Globalised & Local support divisions
• Business Partner to Namibia and Botswana: the key contact for the Country Managers for any financial information
• Maintain cost centres in SAP
• Review and approve purchase order requests
• Contribute to the budget and forecasts processes
• Key player and challenger in developing tools and analysis on actual company performance and business forecast
• Perform adhoc analysis (Advertising and Promotional spend, Business unit requests…)
