About the Position


Transport Manager Based in Jet Park, the purpose of this position is to ensure the cost-effective delivery of customers’ orders.


  • Ensuring on time, cost efficient deliveries to customers
  • Customer liaison
  • Manage operational performance using, among other tools, Road show, DRM, Micro Alert and Mix Telematics


  • Matric
  • Post Matric Logistics qualification/ Road transport Degree / Diploma (mandatory)
  • 5 Years management experience, in a transport environment, of a staff complement of at least 50 people (mandatory)
  • 5 Years’ experience in customer care management (mandatory)
  • Logistics technical/ professional competence, accuracy, knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Customer focus
  • Conflict management skills
  • Analytical
  • Team player who can also work independently
  • Self-motivation and assertiveness
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Time management skills
  • IR skills (mandatory)
  • Ability to build relationships with diverse groups of people
