Job Advert Summary Pick n Pay is looking to recruit a Systems Controller , based at the Longmeadow DC, Edenvale – Johannesburg. The main purpose of the job is to ensure that all SAP system created tasks are accessible to warehouse staff and your High level SAP experience is required to fulfill this role.
Minimum Requirements Senior Certificate
IT related qualification
High level SAP experience
Experience in delivering and writing training material, preferably in an IT context
Experience in the Distribution/Logistics industry
Duties & Responsibilities To ensure that all system created tasks are accessible to warehouse staff.
To report any system related discrepancies and investigation thereof.
To monitor the skipping of tasks or any human action that may interfere with the productivity of the operation.
Store order picking task creation (wave picking).
By having a strong warehouse presence and being approachable.
To create awareness and give Managers and staff insight into why things are occurring to assist them in their own continuous improvement.
To respond to all SAP queries or complaints from warehouse staff in a timely manner.
Changing resource elements.
Pick face replenishment.
Daily inventory control – resolving and reporting stock issues during the day.
Ad hoc stock movements.
Competencies Having a strong warehouse presence and being approachable. Self motivated and organised.
To create awareness and give Managers and staff insight into why things are occurring to assist them in their own continuous improvement.
To respond to all SAP queries or complaints from warehouse staff in a timely manner.
Assist Team managers in identifying under performers.
To highlight any systematic error that may have hindered performance on a given shift.
Planning and organizing skills.
Time management.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Computer Literacy.
Additional Information Competency based interviews and assessment will be conducted for the above requirements during different phases of process.
